WIP Wednesday 6/22

[Looking for my giveaway? It’s here.]

For WIP Wednesday, I have my windowpane quilt to show – this time it’s pieced and I’ve started playing with border ideas (as you can see on the left):

I’ve also started piecing squares for the backing – I’m still brainstorming on the pattern though.
Now the burning question: How should I quilt this? I’d love to hear any ideas you have!

Check out other people’s creations at one of these great sites!

I love it, it really looks fabulous, and really like what you are doing with the border too. Can't help you with quilting, I usually have no idea how to quilt my own.

I love the gray as well. I was kind of thinking about playing with open space. not knowing how big they are, it's hard to know. But I was thinking about a quilt I saw on Film in the Fridge.

Maybe do a row of three, then drop down under the last block and start another row thats a row of 4. All the rest a solid like white. Just a thought!

It's a completely unpractical suggestion for quilting. . . but I think it would be really fun with stitch-in-the-ditch around the window pains and with curtains quilted over the windows.

I have no idea where this totally random idea of curtains for quilting came from, I tend to stick to variations with straight lines.

OH! What a BEAUTIFUL quilt! How DO you keep your seam allowances so straight and even???

Excuse me…I got side-tracked! Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a lovely comment!
